DAY 3

DAY 3! I got up at 4am... was in college for 4:30. Mine, hollys and robyns radio show was at 5am and it was our kpop show. I had SO much fun doing this despite being so so tired. There was roughly 6 people left at 7am... this meant that me holly robyn and georgia had to alternate and work with all the schools because nobody else was in. I did about 5 shows one after the other including, kpop, bishop bell, st johns meads, hailsham community college, helping with bedes prep and preparing for the closing mix. There wasnt many people in that day because they all stayed up all night playing xbox... so that meant that the small amount of us who couldnt go home had to make sure that we knew how to do everything. By the end of the day i was so confident on the desk.

DAY 2 

ITS MY BIRHDAY 

I woke up at 4;45. Was in college at 5:15.. 

Me, holly, sean, callum were in charge of the breakfast show. we didnt have much to talk about so we talked about what was going to be on the show that day. I decided to chat about things to do on the weekend such as the new hunger games movie coming out! We started at 6 and finished at 7. The next show I did was at 9 with west rise school. this included many things happening outside the classroom. it was the first time that i had to use the other microphones but it was very simple. i was getting good at using the desk. at 12:00, my job was to stay in the booth and listen to the meet the media. this was so i could make sure the levels were alight. also, i was in charge of putting the music on when they said to and saying the links so they know when they're live back downstairs. i did this 3 times in an hour. after that, i made sure that heron park got ready safely and asked how they were. i only stayed with them because i had been working with them. I wasnt there for their show but i made sure everything was alright.

DAY 1 

Me and Holly came in at 10. The school we were working with was penvensy and westham. Unfortunately, they came in at 11:50 when they were going live at 12!! This made me very very very nervous and I was shaking. However, all their music was on miriad and everything went to plan. Thank god i had holly in there with me! didnt have anything else to do that day, went home at 2ish.

i spent all day making sure all the idents were 16bit and edited correctly.

Me and Megan went to heron park to record the school kids singing. We recorded them a number of times to get more chances of getting a better sound. We then went back to college and edited it.

We were still planning for our interview with Cathryn. I had asked to help Holly make the idents so we looked at the list of sponsors. We were still looking for other interviewees for our group doc.

Day 7

Me and Charlotte started planning for our individual which we had decided to do together. We spent this lesson alternating from our group documentary to our individual. We had decided on the music we will use and planned some potential interviewees. I got some of the script recorded for our group doc.

Day 6

Planning for our interview with Catheryn. We also went out and made vox pops. We went out into the college and asked people if they had bought prescription drugs on-line. We got roughly 5 responses. Aaron did an interview with a doctor through the phone.

Day 5

Me and Charlotte had an interview with someone who ended up talking about cocaine so we did not end up using that interview. We then got some script recorded.

Day 4

Today we started writing the script and doing more research. I got the folder ready and we did our presentations! We had to tell our idea to the class and explain what our documentary was about.

Day 3

Today we started contacting people for interviews. We found an author called catheryn kemp. Charles said he has a friend we can interview. We then prepared for our presentation on Monday.

Day 2

Today we decided our roles for the group. I have been chosen to be the narrator, Megan is the script writer, Charlotte is the interviewer, Aaron is the producer and Ethan is the editor. We carried on doing research.

Documentary (On-line Drug Abuse)

Today as a team we discussed the meaning of our documentary. Aaron was editing his proposal to sound more profession and include more detailed information. Megan did secondary research on-line and was editing and highlighting key information. Ethan Got contact details and secondary research. I wrote up the meeting minutes, production log and got contact details from police officers for future reference
